Londerzeel is a litte town, but there is a lot to do and to see in the weekends or during the vacations. There are a lot of events in Londerzeel, mostly in the center of the town. First you have a fair In July, it’s an event that children like. There are not that many attractions, because there is not much place in Londerzeel.

Second, there is a “Schlagerfeest” in Londerzeel, it’s on 25 november. The “Schlagerfeest” goes on every year in Londerzeel. It’s a party for adults, because the young people don’t like the music. The singers are Sam Goris, Will Tura, Christoff…

Third, you have the annual market. This market is once a year, it takes place during the time school begins. It’s not a regular market like every week, but it is more special. On the annual market, you can find animals. It’s not really to buy the animals, but the owners can win prizes with the animals. It’s about different animals like horses, cows, goats… The annual market is not just about animals, but there is also a fair. During the annual market, Londerzeel students do not have school and they can go to the annual market.

Fourth, you have christmasmarket. This is not really big, but it’s very cosy because people crawl close together when it’s cold outside. They sit together and drink mulled wine (gluhwein) or a hot chocolat. I think Christmas is the most beautiful time of the year.  

These were the main events, but you have also a lot of parties in Londerzeel like “Ice Ice Baby”, “Feestweekend”, “Laatste 100”…

We can conclude that Londerzeel organizes a lot of events, The events are not as big as the events in the big cities.
